Md. Enamul Kabir is a photographer based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He began taking photographs in 2014, during a period when he was trying to find a new direction in life. What started with taking pictures during walks around the city gradually became an important part of how he sees and understands the world.
Much of his work grows out of everyday encounters with people, animals, and the places they share. He is drawn to the small, often overlooked moments of city life, where kindness, discomfort, humor, and vulnerability can exist side by side.
His photographs have received more than 30 national and international awards and have been exhibited in over 40 exhibitions. His work has also appeared in publications including GEO, The Guardian, Eyeshot, and The Daily Star.
Alongside his personal practice, he is a co-founder of Ordinary Collective, a Dhaka-based photography community.
